\n What’s a typical day as a Medical Administrative Assistant? You’ll be: \n\n

\n\t
• Supporting clinical team and serve as a proactive resource for members related to disease prevention and benefit education.\n\t
• Conducting educational telephone calls advising members of available benefits, services and programs, completes health needs assessment and refers members to population health management programs as appropriate.\n\t
• Reaching out to members with identified gaps in care; encouraging and motivating them to become compliant; offering assistance in locating providers and appointment scheduling.\n\t
• Managing system work queues; screening identified members for eligibility, prior case activities, recent claims, customer service inquiries and authorization history; assignment members to clinical team for call outreach and intervention.\n\t
• Facilitating research and analysis of inquiries and/or complaints related to processes and designations, member lost incentives, and other program related inquiries.\n\t
• Work overtime as needed.\n

\n This job might be an outstanding fit if you: \n\n

\n\t
• Associates Degree in education, communication or health related field.\n\t
• Customer service experience minimum of 2 years.\n\t
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.\n\t
• Have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.\n\t
• Are able to maintain confidentiality and comply with corporate compliance programs.\n\t
• Knowledge of medical terminology.\n\t
• Possess a solution-oriented approach and know when to escalate issues.\n\t
• Can work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on-site at the Chattanooga office.\n\t
