JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for pediatric patients (newborn to 18 years old) through their pediatric and family medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required. Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required. Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required. Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
