Medical Coder II (Ambulatory) - Remote job in Charleston, South Carolina!

Job Summary: Support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in accurately coding ambulatory procedures and outpatient visits. Work remotely and contribute to veteran healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes for ambulatory visits.
• Ensure APC and RBRVS compliance .
• Utilize MHS GENESIS, 3M Encompass 360, JLV systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years ambulatory coding experience (or 2 years MTF experience).
• Certified Coder (CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT) .
• Security clearance eligibility (Tier 1 Investigation) .

Position contingent on contract award. With an early summer start date
