Cogir Senior Living is hiring a friendly, diligent, and energetic Night Porter for our beautiful retirement community, Solista Spokane by Cogir.

Our Night Porter is responsible for fulfilling assigned housekeeping duties in the community's general areas and some light general maintenance. The position is full-time with 4 x 10-hour shifts. The schedule is Friday through Monday nights, 7:30 pm-6 am.

What will you do as a Night Porter?

• Operate floor cleaning machines and clean hard surfaces and carpets as directed.
• Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary, including empty apartments, common areas, and outside spaces.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas of the establishment.
• Follow community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and follow established safety precautions.
• Report all repair requests or safety hazards.
• Laundry duties as assigned.
• Ensure that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are always properly stored.
• Perform routine building maintenance rounds as directed, completing tasks such as painting, wall patching, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Work within the legal scope of local and state codes.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

• A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors !
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience and general maintenance skillset are a plus, including drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, painting, and floor care.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment.
• Previous experience working in commercial property, Hotel, Independent Living (IL), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
