Occupational Therapists help residents reconnect with the routines and movements that bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of control. Through collaboration with physical and speech therapists, nursing staff, and families, OTs design care plans that reflect not just clinical needs, but the full human experience of recovery.

*Occupational Therapist Requirements and Responsibilities*
* Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
* Current state license and NBCOT certification (as applicable)
* Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred
* Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
* Adjust treatments based on resident progress and safety precautions
* Document care thoroughly and ensure compliance with physician orders
