Owner Operator-Regional at Clean Harbors summary:

The Owner Operator-Regional position involves safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste using roll-off and end dump units on long regional routes averaging 2,600-2,700 miles weekly, primarily between La Porte, TX and New Martinsville, WV. Responsibilities include complying with health and safety regulations, proper loading and securing of waste, maintaining logs and reports, and adhering to DOT regulations. The role requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, experience, and the ability to handle physical demands and technology use.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Roll-Off/End Dump Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in La Porte, TX! This route runs from La Porte, TX to New Martinsville, WV and averages 2600-2700 miles per week.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing roll-off and/or end dumps units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Pump required (if applicable): Wet-Kit, Roper Pump or Hydraulic
• Ability to climb and work from heights Required
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs+
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
