Apply for this permanent full-time outdoor position if you have a great work ethic and willingness to perform a changing schedule of assigned Park Maintenance duties.
This job requires that you are physically able to perform maintenance tasks that are necessary to ensure the safety of our visitors and conservation of the 72-acre park.
DUTIES:
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance
• General repairs to various equipment and maintenance of buildings
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and DC motor repair
• Operate light-duty equipment (tractor, power tools, chainsaw, etc.)
• Assist various departments in preparation for public events
REQUIREMENTS:
• Six to twelve months experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position
• Physical ability to perform required grounds keeping and equipment maintenance tasks • Willingness to obtain certifications and training as may be required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Applicants are subject to background checks
WORK HOURS:
• 40 hours per week, year round; with occasional overtime expected
• Alternating week-ends are required during peak season
• Punctuality is required
PAY and BENEFITS:
• Hourly pay based on experience and skill level. EOE
