Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our clients medical facility, which is based in Delray Beach, FL 33445

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Delray Beach, FL 33445

Schedule: M-F with rotational Weekends. 6:20 am 3:30 pm, Saturdays are 7:00 am 12:00 pm (40hours/week)

Pay Range: $17.75 - $19.75 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
