Job Description

We're seeking a Product Owner II to deliver innovative products that align with our strategic roadmap. The Product Owner II manages and makes visible the product backlog or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development. Writes epics and stories (descriptions of desired solution or product functionality) in plain language, prioritizes team's backlog and maintains feature conceptual and technical integrity. Responsible for the effective management and prioritization of defects and feature enhancements to ensure they are resolved at the right time. Maintains significant relationships and responsibilities outside the team, including working with Product Management and engaging cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of the roadmap as planned.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Supports release train and scrum team via PI planning, defect prioritization, managing product backlog and software development details.
  • Helps ensure product execution meets strategy and requirements.
  • Helps refine features into user stories and story acceptance criteria.
  • Partners with Product Managers to understand and influence strategy and roadmap and to aggregate and conceive enhancement ideas and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) achievement.
  • Partners with one Scrum team to build, enhance and manage one or more products, capabilities or services.
  • Facilitates solution optioning with Engineering.
  • Coordinates with Agile Product Managers to delivery on a vision that crosses multiple delivery streams or release trains.
  • Partners with Sales, Sales Operations, Client Solutions and Marketing teams to communicate product performance and value for in-market products.
  • Uses AI to deliver business value by:

    • Accelerating discovery, experimentation, development, and recommend improvements
    • Identifying gaps, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in requirements

Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' Product experience in a related field; or a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field with no degree.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking, project administration & management, requirements analysis, system & technology integration and technology savvy.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate discovery, streamline workflows, and improve decision-making
  • Acts with integrity. Skilled in building partnerships, driving innovation, focusing on execution and striving for excellence.
  • Other duties as needed or required.

USD 79,400.00 - 119,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
