Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a patient-centered approach and a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Seeking an employed psychiatrist for a 24 bed Senior Behavioral Health Unit in a hospital
• Monday thru Friday w some call
• Advance Practice Provider Support
• Telepsychiatry Support
• Inpatient work
• Located in Philadelphia
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis for inpatients and outpatients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding of treatment plans and support recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain licensure
