Allegiance Staffing is looking for reliable and responsible Public Safety Officers to join our team. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and pass both a background check and drug screening. Public Safety Officers are essential to maintaining a secure environment and ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and airport operations.

Shifts Available: Training will be done on 1st shift.

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Essential Functions:

• Ensure compliance with all site policies, procedures, and directives.
• Assess alarms, investigate, and report suspicious activities or circumstances.
• Conduct or assign Airport Worker Screening checks and Insider Threat patrols.
• Identify and report safety and fire hazards, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Report degradation, deficiencies, and accidents as per current procedures and take appropriate corrective actions as directed by IAA Public Safety Supervision.
• Control access of personnel, vehicles, and materials into the perimeter roadway area and maintain appropriate logs.
• Perform vital area patrols, fire watch patrols, and compensatory postings.
• Escort personnel as directed by TSA regulations, IAA Public Safety Supervision, and established procedures.
• Respond to contingency events (security or weather-related) following the Airport Emergency Plan.
• Participate in security drills, practical exercises, and required training programs.
• Maintain qualifications for access authorization, driving certification in Airfield Operation Area, and Airport Emergency Plan requirements.
• Provide courteous assistance and information to the public when necessary.
• Observe and report security violations, hazardous conditions, and unusual situations; notify law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist with managing traffic congestion in and around the airport terminal and functions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recognize hazardous or dangerous items (weapons, explosives, VBIED).
• Deter security breaches at gates and exit lanes by maintaining vigilant security protocols.
• Follow airport escort rules and regulations.
• Recognize unusual or suspicious behavior and report it to appropriate authorities.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license.
• Background Check: Must pass a background check.
• Drug Screening: Must pass a drug screen.
• Ability to recognize hazardous or dangerous items and unusual behavior during patrols and inspections.
• Knowledge of airport security rules, regulations, and emergency response protocols preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle contingency events calmly.
