Job Description

The Pump Installer is responsible for well pump repair, installation and troubleshooting on water well projects. Job Accountabilities include water pump repair, installation and troubleshooting; job preparation including assembling parts, supplies and materials; training Pump Technicians and maintaining a safe working environment; maintaining and repairing company issued equipment; well rehabilitation efforts using chemicals and mechanical means; and administrative work including reports, driving logs, timesheets. Qualifications include High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; valid state driver’s license and Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days; 1-3 years previous pump installation and repair experience; working understanding of pumps, motors, wells, electricity, controls, piping, rigging, chemicals and well rehabilitation tools; strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read, write and follow instructions; problem-solving skills; ability to promote company services; ability to train new employees; ability to pass a drug test and fit for duty physical; compliance with corporate safety initiatives and company’s Code of Conduct. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands, reaching, lifting up to 70 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and specific vision abilities.
