Overview Benefits: Health insurance BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered. The Quality Assurance Manager must be capable of maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation. Responsibilities Determining the resources required for quality control Maintaining the level of quality throughout the software life cycle Developing software quality assurance plans Conducting formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle Basic Qualifications This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. (Note: A Master’s degree is preferred.) Specialized Experience The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment. Preferred Qualifications The proposed candidate must have at least six (6) years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
