Summary : Dr. Karen Knee is seeking a skilled writer and web designer to create a website about water quality in American Samoa, a US territory in the South Pacific. Responsibilities : Design and develop an attractive and engaging website. Format scientific data for easy download and use. Write non-technical summaries of scientific papers and other content for the website. Part-Time position, 5 hours per week during Summer and Fall 2025. Hybrid or fully remote options available. Salary Range : $22 per hour. Required Education and Experience : Ability to read, understand, and summarize scientific journal articles about environmental science and water quality. Proficiency in formatting and exporting spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Ability to write clearly, accurately, and engagingly about complex scientific topics in English. Experience in creating websites with customized structure, design, and content. Ability to complete tasks on time and communicate effectively about any changes or delays. Work independently and accept feedback positively. Other Details : This position is only available to enrolled American University students.
