SUMMARY

Perform required housekeeping duties in INVISTA Salt & Flake area.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean office area, break room and conference room

Wiping down tables

Clean microwave and refrigerator

Empty trash daily as needed

Check area for Culligan water and replace as needed

Sweeping & mopping

Clean overhead fixtures

Operate walk-behind scrubber for daily cleaning of floors throughout the day

Sweep/scrub S&F Lobby area

Assist janitorial staff with cleaning restrooms at the site

OTHER DUTIES

Perform other duties as required including assisting with cleaning restrooms as needed at the site.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous experience working in or around a manufacturing environment preferred

Must possess a positive attitude and be able to build and sustain professional relationships with customer, INVISTA, as well as associates, supervisors, and managers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting (45lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight (8) hours a day

Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing personal protective equipment – including steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hardhat and ear plugs.

Willing and able to work an eight (8) hour shift to include holiday hours if business requires

Willing and able to operate motorized walk-behind floor scrubber

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.  The employee uses computer and telephone equipment.  Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision and must be able to distinguish between colors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Willing and able to work in a hot/humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
