The Sales Trainer plays a vital role in equipping new and existing sales team members with the skills, tools, and confidence they need to succeed in the field. You will design and execute training programs focused on consultative sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies tailored for a door-to-door, community-based sales environment.

This role requires a hands-on, energetic, and motivating leader who thrives on helping others succeed. You will work closely with Sales Management and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and performance.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver onboarding and continuous training programs for Direct Sales Associates.

Onboard new Direct Sales Associates by providing classroom and field training across multiple markets.

Coach team members in the field (ride-alongs) going to door to door to reinforce training and assess skills.

Develop and enhance existing training materials including manuals, pitch scripts, product guides, and interactive exercises.

Teach effective canvassing techniques, execute guerrilla marketing tactics, and demonstrate event engagement strategies.

Lead daily workshops on objection handling, customer rapport building, and referral generation.

Evaluate training effectiveness through field performance, cross-functional feedback, and sales metrics.

Provide ongoing support including one-on-one coaching and refresher sessions.

Partner with Sales Leadership to identify areas for improvement and create action plans.

Support multiple sales leaders by understanding the value propositions per market, getting to know the Direct Sales team members, and providing training that helps all teams meet and exceed sales targets.

Ensure all sales training aligns with FastBridge Fiber's brand, purpose, and customer-centric core values.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or similar role in a high-energy, field-based sales environment.

Strong background in direct, face-to-face sales (residential door-to-door preferred).

Excellent coaching, communication, and motivational skills.

Ability to break down complex sales concepts into engaging, digestible lessons.

Organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Flexible and adaptive to change with a passion for continuous improvement.

Tech-savvy with proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Excel, field sales engagement and tracking platforms, and CRM systems.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Up to 50% of travel within Pennsylvania and New York is required for classroom training, field training and to utilize local company events for training purposes.

Bilingual skills a plus.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in sales training or leading a sales team.

Familiarity with fiber internet or telecom industry is highly desirable.

Experience conducting field training and sales performance evaluations.
