Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP solutions in the APO LiveCache environment. Develop planning functions, key figures, characteristics, and planning books for complex scenarios. Optimize and manage SAP LiveCache for performance, data management, and system integrity. Customize Core Interface (CIF) for seamless data exchange with ECC and external systems. Implement integration via RFCs, Web Services, and custom adapters for third-party platforms. Build automated planning algorithms, simulations, and exception handling frameworks. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues across APO and CIF. Collaborate with functional teams to ensure alignment between business processes and technical solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in APO environments. Strong understanding of LiveCache administration , APO architecture, and planning data models. Proven experience in planning function customization and APO interface development. Knowledge of CIF, master data distribution, and error handling mechanisms. Preferred Qualifications: SAP APO Technical Certification. Experience with S/4HANA embedded planning or SAP IBP integration . Exposure to optimization algorithms and forecasting models. Background in energy, utilities, or manufacturing industries. DevOps experience with transport management and CI/CD processes.
