Baer is looking for SAP GTS Consultant for a 3+ month project located in Atlanta, GA

Title: SAP GTS Consultant

Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA (2 to 3 days on site) - Local Required

Duration: 3 months

Rate: All-Inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead and support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP GTS solutions integrated with S/4HANA.
• Provide functional consulting for Compliance Management, including: Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening – Traditional & HANA-based, Embargo checks and Legal Control
• Configure and support SAP GTS Customs Management processes: Export Declarations, Import Declarations, Special Customs Procedures and Transit Declarations
• Ensure compliance with export/import customs authority requirements (AES, ATLAS).
• Work with middleware solutions such as Seeburger, CPI, and EDI.
• Support processes related to Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), Inward/Outward Processing Relief (IPR/OPR), and Customs Warehouse operations.
• Implement and support GTS Preference Management, including: Preference Determination, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Regional Value Content (RVC) calculations, Vendor-based Long-Term Vendor/ Supplier Declarations (LTVD/LTSD) and Customer LTVD/LTSD (CLTVD/CLTSD)
• Manage HS Classification and Product Classification activities.
• Support European Intrastat reporting requirements.
• Configure and maintain the SAP GTS Broker Interface for customs paperwork.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience as an SAP GTS functional consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP GTS Compliance, Customs, and Preference Management modules.
• Practical experience with SAP GTS E4H implementations.
• Deep knowledge of global trade processes, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Experience with middleware integration (Seeburger, CPI, EDI) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
