Job Summary

This is a Safety-Sensitive Position. We are seeking professional Security Specialists to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to Deter, Detect, Document, Report and create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience in either the military, public safety, or security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. This position requires reliability and flexibility. Weekend and Holiday availability is required. There will be overtime and extra shifts.
SRC Private Security LLC has Part-time  hours available in SEATTLE, BURIEN and The Puget Sound area.
Starting Pay: $24/hour

Responsibilities 

• Patrol the premises on foot and maintain a high level of visibility
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
• Remove trespassers when necessary
• Monitor surveillance cameras 
• Perform fire watch duties
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents
• Keep a detailed log
• Be flexible
• Be prepared
• Be there on time
• Work in all weather conditions
• Possess mental and physical toughness to push through difficulty for the good of the team and the client
• Work weekends
• Work Holidays
• Have reliable vehicle suited for driving through all road conditions, including rain, snow, and ice

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
• Valid registration as a security officer
• High school diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
• Excellent speaking, reading, writing in English communication skills and ability
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Legal to work in US
• Valid driver's license, reliable/licensed/insured vehicle, good driving record
• Working, reliable cell phone
• Drug-free, no under the influence of alcohol or on the job smoking. This is a Safety-Sensitive Position.
• Senses(eyesight, hearing smell) must be normal
• Unrestricted mobility, ability to walk and stand for long periods, run, sit, climb stairs, lift, push, pull, squat, bend, stoop, twist, turn, and reach 
• Experience in security, law-enforcement or fire/medical/rescue preferred
