Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Elite Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. This armed post requires you to carry out routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a secure and positive environment for everyone at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at retail locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the retail or mall location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the position.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification if applying for a position in Texas.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military experience, or possess a college degree or 5+ years of Armed Security experience. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
