Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong working relationships with internal users from both business and technical backgrounds to facilitate effective application support.
- Collect, validate, document, and facilitate the implementation of business requirements for technological initiatives, which include business and data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, as well as user interface designs.
- Lead and actively participate in system planning and testing activities.
- Engage in user acceptance testing while providing support for system training and documentation.
- Balance responsibilities related to production support while simultaneously managing application development projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation in support of technology requests.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Technology Experience:
- Previous experience with Argus, Asset Eye/RealPage, Yardi, or other real estate portfolio management systems.
- Familiarity with Anaplan, Investran, eFront, or other Private Equity systems will be considered a plus.
- Advanced skills in managing business requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in developing workflow and functional use cases.
- Intermediate proficiency in data modeling, normalization, and SQL queries.
- Experience using reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Prior development experience is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems, and/or Finance.
- A Master’s degree with a concentration in Finance or Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Familiarity with Real Estate and other alternative investment concepts, terminology, and systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
