About the Role
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You'll work with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and manage third-party resources to meet objectives. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead system implementation projects, focusing on application development rather than infrastructure.
Utilize Jira for project tracking and collaboration.
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets, adhering to established Project Management Office (PMO) guidelines.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in MS Project, including dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation.
Provide consistent communication and visibility into project schedules and progress.
Monitor and forecast project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Facilitate resolution of conflicts, issues, and risks within project teams.
Conduct post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned and identifying areas for improvement.
Clearly communicate project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with team members, project leaders, and stakeholders to drive project success.
Mentor and guide project teams in PMO best practices, from risk mitigation to budget management.
Ensure quality and consistency in project methodologies and deliverables, recommending improvements as needed.
Support governance efforts when collaborating with third-party vendors.
