Infosys is seeking a Senior Python Developer. In the role, you will collaborate with key customers to apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code work you're doing for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; you will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python-based web applications Should have Worked in all phases of the Software development life cycle (SDLC) starting from requirement gathering, designing functional document to implementation, delivery, test planning, execution, and production support. Knowledge on Agile Methodology (scrum process), and understanding of all key scrum ceremonies like story grooming, etc. Ensure Sprint dedication and release goals are met, understand program/ project objectives, and meet the release goals. Metrics to be met as per agreed SLA for the team. Own the team on technical guidance, mentoring as needed. Coordinate with offshore team, client team and take end to end responsibility of project delivery. Customer management, weekly reports/ governance, and cadence with ITPMs, Architects as needed. Required Qualifications: The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Stamford CT or Raleigh NC or Richardson, TX or Phoenix, AZ or Indianapolis, IN be willing to relocate to the area. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Education. Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives. Working in an agile environment- with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies.
