Senior QA / Testing Analyst | Remote

Nexeo HR is hiring a Senior QA / Testing Analyst to support a large-scale banking system conversion and migration initiative. This role focuses on deposit products and account opening platforms and plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and functionality throughout the transition. The ideal candidate brings deep banking QA experience, excels at creating and maintaining test documentation, and is confident working independently while collaborating closely with SMEs and stakeholders in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements and functional designs

• Perform testing for banking deposit products including DDA (checking), savings, money market accounts, transfers, sweeps, and account opening platforms

• Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in complex requirements and functional documentation; proactively challenge assumptions and work with SMEs to resolve issues

• Maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, test coverage, and defects

• Support system conversions and migrations by validating outcomes and documenting test results

• Facilitate and participate in defect triage sessions, including prioritization, reporting, and clear communication of testing status

• Estimate testing effort, plan workloads, and execute testing activities independently

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA or testing experience

• Banking domain experience, including major system conversions and/or migrations

• Strong experience writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO), Agile delivery practices, and ability to adapt between Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Proven ability to estimate work, plan effectively, and manage competing priorities

• Strong understanding of test traceability and maintenance of testing artifacts

• Experience facilitating defect triage and producing clear defect and status reporting

• Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Pay

$44.00 per hour
