Senior Surgical Technician (Advanced Surgical Technologist) performs delegated intraoperative tasks, maintains specialty preference cards, coordinates surgical supplies/equipment, and creates product requests in a hospital surgical department. Requires graduation from an accredited program (or equivalent), Washington Surgical Technologist registration, BLS certification, and at least 3 years' surgical technologist experience. Role is full-time, on-site at Providence St. Mary Medical Center with typical benefits and pay range listed.
Description
Advanced Surgical Technologists are individuals who perform tasks in the surgical setting under the delegation of a licensed health practitioner. The primary duties are outlined in WAC 346-939-030. The Advanced Surgical technologist is responsible for maintaining and editing their specific designated specialty preference cards, coordinating supplies and equipment for their designated specialty, and creating product request forms.
