This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with a deep background in public accounting and a passion for advising high-net-worth individuals, private clients, and closely held entities. This is a full-time, primarily onsite role with flexibility and long-term growth potential. About the Role: As a Senior Tax Manager, you’ll take the lead on complex tax matters for private clients, including individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S-Corps. You’ll manage client engagements from strategy through compliance, mentor a close-knit team of tax professionals, and work directly with firm leadership. This is a visible, relationship-driven role with the autonomy to shape client outcomes and build long-term advisory relationships. Key Responsibilities: Review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S-corporations. Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies for private clients. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax implications of wealth transfers, charitable giving, estate planning, and closely held business structures. Oversee staff workflows, delegate responsibilities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work. Mentor, train, and supervise junior and mid-level team members. Manage client relationships with a consultative approach to service and communication. Identify tax risk areas and proactively develop solutions. Collaborate with firm leadership on firm-wide initiatives and client engagement strategy. Qualifications & Skills: CPA license required. Minimum of 6 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm. Significant experience in private client services, with deep knowledge of individual, trust, estate, and partnership taxation. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and client relationships. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills. Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, and CaseWare is preferred. Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience). Flexible onsite work structure with some remote flexibility.
