SUMMARY
This is an entry level position assisting in daily Front of House operations. Maintain all aspects of the service areas. Serve as a support to the Dining Room team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room standards and etiquette
2. Polishing/Distributing all types of glasses and silverware
3. Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers
4. Able to clear/set/reset a table
5. Delivers food from the kitchen to the guests
6. Ability to present a table side service of Cesar Salad
7. Location/Retrieval of Ice
8. Assists with side work and cleaning before, during, and after each shift
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Must be at least 16 years of age
3. Must be well-groomed and well-presented
4. Must have reliable transportation
Desirable
1. Familiarity with Forbes Standards
2. Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French
3. Certification in alcohol awareness program
4. Certification in CPR
SKILLS
1. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
2. Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
3. Must always be organized and maintain cleanliness of workstation
4. Ability to speak using clear and professional language
5. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
6. Ability to cross-train across multiple departments and assist when needed
7. Ability to assist guests with questions about the property, it’s history, and surrounding areas
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Must be able to lift 30+ lbs.
2. Able to stand, bend and walk for long periods of time
3. Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting and climbing
