Volunteers — Skin I’m In Fashion Week® 2025 (Benefiting Be More Adaptive®)

Date & Time : Sunday, November 2, 2025 — Volunteer shifts available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM (set-up through breakdown)

Location : Lone Star Flight Museum, 11551 Aerospace Ave, Houston, TX 77034

About the Event

Skin I’m In Fashion Week® is a high-profile runway and arts experience advancing representation in fashion and media. This year, we are proud that Be More Adaptive® (BMA) is the event beneficiary. Our mission to build an accessible world includes transforming the fashion industry. In partnership with Skin I’m In Model & Talent Agency® , we champion the idea that Every BODY Should Be Represented across runways, campaigns, and screens.

Why It Matters

Visibility changes what and who gets designed for. When people with disabilities are represented onstage and behind the scenes, brands and media move closer to universal design, better access, and more equitable opportunities. Your volunteer support directly fuels programs that expand access, representation, and opportunities for people with disabilities through Be More Adaptive®.

What You’ll Do

We’ll match your skills and interests to event needs. Example roles include:

• Hospitality & Guest Experience : check-in, seating guides, audience support, floaters
• Event Operations : set-up and breakdown, backstage support, craft services restock
• Creative & Media : social media, PR and influencer outreach, marketing support, presentation ops
• Special Features : merchandise, art exhibit support, fundraising
• Flexible Placement : “Put me where you need me.”

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for service, inclusion, and a team-first mindset
• Strong communication and reliability
• Availability on event day within 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM ; limited pre- and post-event support available for those interested
