SOLAR INSTALLER ELECTRICIAN commercial

We are seeking a Commercial Solar Electrician to join our growing team of solar professionals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
• Perform work in a professional manner that is required for the construction and installation of electrical systems and components for commercial solar and backup battery projects.
• Troubleshoot and correct faulty electrical systems.
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility.
• Prepare and assemble conduits and wiring connections.
• Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment and by observing functions.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• Must be California State Certified.
• Thorough knowledge of both Electrical and Structural plan sets.
• Must be able to perform Solar Interconnection and service upgrades.
• Pipe bending 1"- 4" experience
• Be able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the solar industry.
• OSHA 10, First Aid and CPR Certified.
• Forklift Certified.
• Must have experience in commercial installations.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (weather changes).
• Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops.
• Excellent customer service that brings positive feedback
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects and competing demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
