Position: Full-Time School Psychologist

Description: Our client in Waterford, CT, is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time position involves working within a self-contained autism program, providing critical psychological support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments tailored to the needs of students in the autism program.
• Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other educational planning discussions.
• Provide counseling and behavioral support to students and consultation to school staff and parents.
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential and/or license in Connecticut.
• Experience working with students in a self-contained autism program preferred.
• Strong skills in psychological evaluation, assessment, and report writing.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Details:

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
• Position: Full-Time for the full school year.
