Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Full Stack developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for designing scalable software solutions, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, and ensuring software performance through continuous optimization and troubleshooting.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Full Stack developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable software solutions using Core Java and J2EE.

• Developing and maintaining RESTful and SOAP web services to enhance application functionality.

• Utilizing Hibernate for efficient database management and data retrieval.

• Integrating REST APIs for seamless communication between software components.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.

• Ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and design for optimized software performance.

• Participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality and encourage knowledge sharing.

• Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in software development.

• Providing technical guidance to junior team members and supporting their growth.

• Ensuring software compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.

• Optimizing existing applications for improved performance and scalability.

• Monitoring system performance through tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.

• Representing the team in cross-project meetings and discussions.

• Educating staff through training and offering timely support for system problems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

• Strong expertise in building REST APIs, microservices, and web services.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
