Staff Accountant – Non-Profit Organization
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000
PTO: 10+ Weeks Annually

What You’ll Do:

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Support the preparation of financial reports and grant compliance documentation

• Collaborate with program teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of budgets and expenditures

• Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience (non-profit experience is a plus, but not required)

• Solid understanding of GAAP

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
