Staff Accountant

• Our client is a well-established nonprofit organization serving the young adult community

• Hybrid position located on the Upper West Side near the 1 train, 207th St train stop

Responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliations and preparation for month end close
• Prepaid / Fixed Asset responsibilities
• Assistance with Accounts Payable responsibilities
• Ad hoc reporting via Sage Intacct as needed
• Special projects to streamline functions, ability to utilize your own skills and ideas through creativity!
• Assist with Audit preparation

Experience Preferred:

• 3+ years of hands on experience, industry flexible but nonprofit a plus!
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Skills with v lookups and pivot tables via Microsoft Excel a plus
