Pay : $35–$45/hr (equivalent to $70,000–$90,000/year)
Position: Fulltime
Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Steel Fabricator/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a professional craftsperson with a proven track record in structural and architectural steel work. This position requires exceptional welding, layout, and installation capabilities, as well as the ability to work independently in demanding field conditions.You will play a key role in fabricating and installing high-quality metal components for commercial and architectural projects, ensuring precision, safety, and top-tier craftsmanship in every job.
Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and execute fabrication and installation from detailed shop and construction drawings
• Perform advanced MIG, TIG, and stick welding with clean, full-penetration welds
• Accurately measure, cut, fit, and assemble steel components using jigs, fixtures, and field measurements
• Execute field installations in coordination with general contractors and other trades
• Identify and solve fabrication or installation issues independently, maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including tools and equipment

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of experience in structural and/or architectural steel fabrication and installation
• Expert-level proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding strongly
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Experience with field installation of stairs, railings, embeds, and custom architectural details
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small, focused team
• Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and craftsmanship

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 70 lbs unassisted
• Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather
• Familiarity with standard construction site conditions, including the use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols
