Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support the design and construction of various projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple drafting software and a strong understanding of engineering principles. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

*Civil Land Survey drafters with any level of experience!
Degree preferred if less than 3 years experience.

*Will work closely with Engineering team
Option to work in Birmingham or Gulf Coast office

Duties

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.
• Create schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documents.
• Utilize Civil 3D for civil engineering projects as needed.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design changes and updates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in drafting software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with 2D animation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of CAD principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.
• Previous experience in a drafting role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $24.36 - $26.79 per hour
