Job Description

SEQ is a leading provider of IT Solutions, contract staffing, and permanent employment services. We are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter to join our team to source and place top IT talent for capital markets and financial services clients.

Responsibilities


  • Leverage SEQ's networking capabilities to source and engage hard-to-reach IT talent for capital markets clients, focusing on roles from entry-level to C-suite.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans for high-priority IT positions within capital markets and financial services firms.
  • Utilize advanced search techniques and AI-powered tools to source passive candidates from various platforms, including LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow.
  • Conduct in-depth technical screening interviews to assess candidates' skills in areas such as algorithmic trading, risk management systems, and cybersecurity.
  • Manage complex offer negotiations, including base salary, bonuses, equity compensation, and relocation packages.
  • Coordinate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations specific to the financial services industry.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT recruitment experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of technology stack and roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and the culture of financial services firms.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in high-level IT positions.
  • Experience recruiting for an agency serving financial services clients (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, etc.) is strongly preferred.


Qualifications
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
