The Assistant GM will supervise various departments, support hotel profitability, and step in for the General Manager as needed. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, dedicated to high standards and team development. Pay Range This range is provided by Aimbridge Hospitality. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Responsibilities Leadership: Supervise operating departments and support the achievement of hotel profitability through effective management. Problem Solving: Anticipate and resolve workplace issues proactively. Hiring & Training: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff, supporting ongoing development programs. Communication: Maintain clear communication with staff and guests, resolving concerns promptly. Financial Skills: Understand and utilize financial data to support operations. Technical Skills: Use Windows OS for management and reporting tasks. Organization & Appearance: Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to guests and staff. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel Rooms or F&B departments, or a related 4-year college degree with 2-3 years of experience, or a 2-year college degree with 3-4 years of experience. Previous supervisory experience required. Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid may be required.
