Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience in g-tube, stent, and central line procedures and a current FL license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an acute care hospital Interventional Radiology unit serving adult patients
• Handles procedures such as cardiac stent placement, g-tube, central line, chemo, and more
• Community hospital and outpatient setting experience required
• Team supports Level II Trauma cases and ER workflow
• Will use equipment including X-ray, portables, contrast injectors, Xper, Phillips, and PACS
• Uses Allscripts for charting; Epic experience is preferred
• Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM
• On-call required, including buddy call during orientation and every-other weekend and holiday call coverage
• May float to sister facilities within scope as needed
• Weekend call will start on the first week, with Friday-Sunday coverage every other weekend
• Locals considered at the travel rate
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Expect active participation in a variety of interventional radiology procedures and support for trauma and ER patients
• Comprehensive orientation includes buddy call with manager, ongoing support from experienced team members, and online learning modules
• Finalized RTO must be submitted prior to offer and will not be accepted after
• No local radius restriction; locals accepted at the travel rate
• Employees and contracted staff must observe a 1-year waiting period after leaving a previous internal contract to be eligible for rehire
• Parking is free with a decal provided at orientation
• Solid-colored scrubs required with matching tops and bottoms; no logos or prints permitted

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active FL or compact state Radiologic Technologist license required at time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted)
• ARRT certification required; ARRT advanced credentials preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years' Interventional Radiology experience including cardiac stent, g-tube, central line, and chemo procedures
• Experience with ER and Level I Trauma environments required
• Community hospital, outpatient, and portable X-ray experience required
• Proficiency with Allscripts and PACS required; Epic experience preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred
• Valid flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
