• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Job Details

• MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
• REFUSAL TO FLOAT MAY END IN TERMINATION OF CONTRACT.
• IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
• Locals: Not accepted
• If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package then they are eligible to apply
• Shift Requirements: 3x12s ONLY
• Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 Year Experience
• Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
• Certification Requirements: BCLS
• Skillset Preferences: Telemetry, and IV Start

Schedule Information

• Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.
• Shift Requirements: 3x12s ONLY

Unit Specific Information

• Unit Information: Cardiovascular surgical, peripheral vascular surgical, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation and overflow at times.

Additional Details

• HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology exam required. Not required for Techs or RRTS.
