We are seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters, providing comprehensive legal services to high-net-worth individuals and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a client's estate, including the creation of wills and trusts, tax planning, and probate litigation. This role requires a deep understanding of wealth management, strong attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management.
2. Draft, review, and revise various estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
3. Develop and implement innovative strategies for wealth preservation and transfer, taking into account tax implications and legal regulations.
4. Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to estate planning and wealth management.
5. Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in laws related to trusts, estates, and wealth management.
6. Participate in business development activities to build and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a trusts and estates attorney, with a strong focus on wealth management.
3. Admission to the IL state bar.
4. Demonstrated expertise in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
5. In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to trusts, estates, and wealth management.
6. Strong negotiation, litigation, and conflict resolution skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
11. Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
