Solaris HealthCare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team!

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments including wound measurements and documentation
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with wounds
• Perform wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement and other necessary interventions
• Educate patients and their families on wound care, preventions strategies, and overall health maintenance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care treatments and adjust plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Stay current with best practices, evidence based protocols and new technologies in wound care
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on wound care management

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred
• Skilled Nursing Experience preferred
• 2+ years of Experience in Wound Care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials and other conditions found in healthcare setting
• Must be able to lift and move patients as needed
• May require standing, walking & moving for extended periods
