RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the creative vision and visual storytelling for our luxury custom window treatment products, ensuring alignment with brand values, marketing goals and business objectives.
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative design concepts, campaigns, and visual assets that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills to provide direction and mentorship to the design team, inspiring excellence and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate marketing goals and product specifications into compelling visual solutions across various platforms and mediums.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of visual assets, including photography, post-production, illustrations, graphics, and digital renderings, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Positive, proactive and comfortable managing multiple people, projects, and processes simultaneously.
  • Understands how to prioritize tasks effectively and works closely with project management to allocate resources as needed to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Present creative concepts and designs to internal stakeholders and clients, incorporating feedback and iterating as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to inform and enhance our creative strategies and practices.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of in-house Art Direction experience, with exposure to a wide variety of focus areas, including brand strategy, digital marketing, visual design and collateral.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and a diverse range of creative projects.
  • Proven track record of leading successful creative campaigns and initiatives, preferably in the luxury retail or home decor industry.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and strategic vision, with the ability to translate ideas into impactful visual executions.
  • Understanding of digital, social, PR, experiential, emerging platforms, and the evolving media landscape
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as digital imaging and rendering tools.

  • The base salary compensation range for this position is $130-160k, commensurate with experience.
