Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Green Key Resources Senior Technical Recruiter at Green Key Resources Green Key is recruiting for a Cybersecurity Engineer for a Long Island based Real Estate Investment Trust. The Engineer will help ensure the security of internal systems, networks, and platforms; working on a mix of cybersecurity, data security, and systems security projects. This is a full-time position, with a hybrid work schedule in Jericho, NY, and a salary range of $90,000-120,000. Responsibilities Include: Designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems and protocols. Performing penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments. Developing and implementing mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities. Monitoring security systems for unusual activity using a variety of tools and technologies. Analyzing and responding to security alerts and incidents. Creating comprehensive reports on security incidents. Collaborating with IT and Software Development teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the technological infrastructure. Developing and maintaining engineering playbooks. Participating in cybersecurity incident response activities. Developing and delivering training programs to educate all staff members about information security, data privacy, and cyber threats. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or Cybersecurity Analyst. Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, etc.), risk assessment techniques, and security systems. Strong understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure and network hardware. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data to make strategic decisions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate non-technical colleagues about security protocols and potential risks.
