Diesel Truck Mechanic - Day Shift
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay: Up to $30/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Direct Hire
We are currently hiring a Diesel Truck Mechanic for a day-shift, direct-hire opportunity. This role involves performing maintenance and repair work on DOT diesel trucks, including lugger and roll-off trucks (prior experience with these specific types is helpful but not required). This is a great opportunity to join a stable and experienced team with a clean, well-equipped shop. This position is open due to the relocation of a valued long-term employee. You'll be working alongside another seasoned diesel mechanic and a maintenance team member who assists with general shop duties and welding.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on DOT diesel trucks
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Troubleshoot and repair basic truck systems (brakes, hydraulics, electrical, etc.)
• Maintain accurate service records and complete necessary documentation
• Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with general shop tasks as needed
