We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Director of Finance to join our team. This role is integral to the success of our business and requires a professional with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organization, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and direction.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive the company's vision and business objectives.
2. Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors, stakeholders, and senior management team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in reporting.
3. Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
4. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial models and forecasting reports.
5. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Advise on long-term business and financial planning, identifying potential areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
8. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
9. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is strongly preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
4. Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
5. Proven experience in financial reporting, financial modeling, and analysis.
6. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
10. Proficient in using financial software and MS Office.
