Job Description

Bill's Market, a high traffic convenience store/gas station, is seeking a Convenience Store Management Associate . The Management team is responsible for the day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. They are also responsible for the store's profits and all controllable expenses such as labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages. Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, recommending for hire, and training positive individuals to ensure excellent customer service. Motivate, encourage, and challenge store cashiers. Promote and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained. Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed, correctly priced, and safely arranged. Maintain brand image standards to pass evaluations. Monitor daily gasoline retail competitors. Complete daily paperwork and computer entries as per management guidelines. Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily. Conduct monthly store meetings with employees. Perform all cashier duties physically as needed. Understand and utilize daily store operation reports. Follow all company policies and procedures. Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is updated. Handle price changes, markdowns, and ups as requested and communicate pricing issues to management. Enforce merchandising and vendor policies. Ensure safety and security standards are met, conduct safety/security meetings, and document attendance. Report and process incidents or accidents involving employees or customers. Qualifications College education preferred. 3 to 5 years of convenience store management experience required. Experience in grocery, hot food, and ordering merchandise required.
