About the Family: The Muscatello family in Nashville, TN, is looking for a flexible and experienced nanny to help part-time with school pickups, after-school activities, homework, and light household duties for their 7-year-old and 4-year-old children. They need someone who can adapt to a changing schedule and be available for occasional date nights. Flexibility is a must, as the family’s activity schedule shifts throughout the year. The family values a positive, responsible caregiver who will create a nurturing environment for their kids while ensuring smooth, efficient household operations. Responsibilities: Pickup children from school and assist with settling in Help with homework and provide direction Assist with meal preparation, including finishing crockpot meals and microwaving meals for kids Clean up the kitchen and do dishes Provide supervision and engage in after-school activities (play, crafts, etc.) Laundry and light household tasks as needed (flexible schedule) Occasional coverage for date nights (Friday or Saturday evenings) Ability to manage the children’s schedules with a proactive approach and provide guidance Qualifications: Previous nanny or childcare experience required Must be comfortable with meal prep and kitchen clean-up Strong flexibility and adaptability to shifting schedules Ability to handle household chores, including laundry Experience managing children’s homework and after-school routines Proactive and intuitive; able to work independently and take direction Comfortable with the occasional weekend or evening work (date nights) Responsible, with a positive, nurturing attitude Additional Information: Guaranteed 10 hours per week minimum, with potential for additional hours due to sports schedules Flexible with schedule changes Sunday afternoons: Laundry or time with the kids (3 hours) Monday: School pickup, help with food and settling in (2 hours) Wednesday: After-school care (3 hours) Thursday: After-school care (2 hours) Start date: January 2025 $22/hr
