Physical Therapist Center Director

Location: Delano, CA.

Job type: Full-time, outpatient clinic (adult).

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical limitations or impairments.
  • Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
  • Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
  • Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in status.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • 12 - 14 patients/day ( 1 pt every 30 mins).
  • Management of PTA & aides, 1- 2 at most.
  • Benefit of leadership skills without additional administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • DPT in Physical THERAPY.
  • NEW GRADS WELCOME.
  • Current CPR certification (preferred)
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Knowledge of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Strong commitment to ethical and professional standards in healthcare.
