Position: Sr HR Consultant – a global role supporting employees in multiple time zones. This role provides business partner support to client groups and focuses on Human Resources areas such as retention, talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, onboarding programs, and general HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities Provide one point of contact for HR support to assist in the achievement of the client’s business goals, offering strategic partnership/advisement with internal client leadership at all levels. Develop employee retention initiatives, evaluate retention drivers and turnover statistics, and oversee execution of retention plans with the management team. Serve as a trusted advisor to management, ensuring sound management practices aligned with HR policy and consistent decision-making across lines of business. Identify business and HR objectives/expectations and manage initiatives to completion. Improve the quality and delivery of HR processes and data requests with high accuracy. Partner with leaders on organizational structure changes, identify impact, and assist in communications as needed. Provide counsel to client leaders to proactively address complex HR issues impacting the business. Coordinate and lead talent management discussions with assigned business leaders. Partner with the business unit to identify opportunities for staff development and assist managers in creating development plans. Collaborate with local HR teams across regions and with Talent Acquisition to obtain skilled talent. Participate in project teams, providing guidance and support as appropriate. Support requires flexibility to work across multiple time zones and adapt work hours as needed. You Bring This Value Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Business Administration or Human Resources Management Typically 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Manufacturing experience preferred Solid HR fundamentals, broad-based HR experience including employee relations, and knowledge of EEO laws, affirmative action, and conflict resolution Ability to work with all levels of employees, from front-line to senior management Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo with actionable steps Strong team-building, self-motivation, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment Creative problem solving with attention to detail and follow-up Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Hybrid schedule with ability to support a global workforce across multiple time zones Previous international HR experience is a plus; English and additional language skills preferred Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams Ability and flexibility to support continuous operating manufacturing sites What We Offer Benefits LyondellBasell provides a competitive total compensation package designed to reward excellence and support employee well-being.
