China Australia Millennial Project

200 YOUNG INNOVATORS, 2 COUNTRIES, 1 CITY
The China Australia Millennial Project (CAMP) cultivates opportunities, develops networks and co-creates new solutions to issues common to both Australia and China. In collaboration with Vivid Ideas 2015, CAMP will see 100 young innovators from China converge upon Sydney and meet 100 young innovators from across Australia for a one week innovation incubator lab, mentored by global change-makers.

VISION
We envisage a world where connection and collaboration between Australia and China is easy, natural and authentic. We see a world where young Australia and China are better able to create together, a relationship imbued with the values: inclusivity, respect, accessibility, visibility, reciprocity, participation, innovation, quality, friendship, co-creation, fun and optimism.

WHY?
We believe we can do better to bring Australia and China together by deepening networks, forging friendships, developing new meaning and expanding potential for ongoing collaboration. With the global economic and geopolitical shifts in the world, Australia and China will do well to know each other better. Our goals are –

• To develop real people to people relationships and friendships between Australia and China
• To seek and foster new areas of engagement between Australia and China across business, knowledge and creative sectors
• To showcase Australian creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation in China
•To facilitate dialogue, develop professional and institutional networks between Australia and China and harness the leadership of Australian communities in strengthening bilateral connectivity
•To generate, disseminate and make accessible high-quality, relevant and up-to-date information about Australia-China relations
• To strengthen the foundations of engagement – China literacy, business and cultural capabilities of Australian institutions and people

All applications must be submitted online through our system. Applications close on January 23rd, Midnight EST.
